Meyers
This small community in El Dorado county is considered a gateway from Highway 88 and Hwy 89 to South Lake Tahoe. No many services are available here, but it is known for its accessibility to Echo Lakes, Fallen Leaf Lake and several great cross country skiing areas. The ski resort, Sierra at Tahoe is closer to Meyers than Lake Tahoe.
