Restaurants on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe run the gamut from five star gourmet to pizzerias and pubs. This is both a working person's area and a tourist location, so you will find inexpensive lunch specials as well as romantic places to pop the question.
If you really want to splurge, head to the
Lone Eagle Grill at the Hyatt. This place has a wonderful view of the lake, a private beach and pier. They also have a deck where you can enjoy a drink and the outdoor fire pit. For something a little more on the medium-price side, go to
Yoshimi Sushi for some all-you-can-eat sushi and sashimi,
La Fondue, or
Bite where you can get unusual tapas and drinks.
For some great deals, go to
Mofo's Pizza & Pasta, the coffee shop at the
Tahoe Biltmore,
Lupita's Mexican or
T's Mesquite Rotisserie and
Thai Recipe. These are all located within a few steps of each other in downtown Incline Village. Most of these restaurants serve up lunch or happy hour specials that won't bust your budget.
