The Smokehouse is a world so removed from the harsh buzz of the city that it takes your breath away. It is lovingly modeled to resemble a typical English country home. Sink into luxurious, flowery sofas around the restaurant's fireplace for some pre-dinner drinks. Be sure to admire the antiques and bric-a-brac around you- all brought back from England to recreate a cozy English home. The Smokehouse extends to two floors. The bar downstairs does get packed and loud. O head upstairs, to the quieter and more intimate dining room. Try their traditional English dishes such as beef Wellington, roast beef, pancake, chicken and mushroom pie. For dessert, order their sherry trifle or the popular Bombe Alaska. Strangely enough, the Smokehouse also has an extensive Thai menu, thanks to their Thai chef.
