Skiers and snowboarders who enjoy the slower pace and intimacy of a smaller ski area will appreciate Mount Baldy, located at the southeast end of the Okanagan Valley, 29 miles/ 46 km northeast of Osoyoos. The ski area is extremely popular with locals and offers 35 groomed runs, a quad, a double a T-bar and a magic carpet. The lion's share of its runs are dedicated to intermediate skiers and boarders, with the remaining portioned evenly to beginner and advanced users.Mt. Baldy accommodates both downhill and cross-country skiing, and has a terrain park that hosts its own annual competition. Skiers and snowboarders can pair their visit with a discounted stay at one of the resorts in the Okanagan Valley, or stay at one of the motels or cabins close to the slopes on Mount Baldy.
