Shmil's bistro, tucked away in a converted warehouse is one of Jerusalem's most delightful and interesting restaurants. Chef/owner Shmil Holland can often be seen prowling the Machane Yehuda market looking for the freshest ingredients for his latest creations.There's always a soup of the day and a great selection of salads with a variety of innovative combinations. Main courses include fish, pasta and Shmil's version of some Eastern European Jewish dishes.
The breakfast menu breaks out of the traditional Israeli breakfast and features things like Austrian cheese dumplings and an array of scrumptious sandwiches and some of the best coffee in town.
