Turkish name for soup is çorba; and Shorba is a somewhat similar to how you might pronounce it in English (with a slight bound in the intonation of "ç"). Nonetheless, it is a unique concept restaurant that is serving mainly soups.
Shorba has nearly 3000 soup recipes from all around the world, but the main focus that is served daily is on Turkish traditional / Ottoman cuisine. That is not to say, there are no international tastes... Everyday, Shorba serves 24 different type of soups. Do try chicken soup with safran, as it was delicious.
Also served is breakfast in the mornings, salad and a few samples of Ottoman main courses.
