GBK, the Gourmet Burger Kitchen, was founded in 2001 by three New Zealanders with the aim to enhance the popular view that burgers are bad for your health. Using high quality ingredients, and preparing highly visual dishes with the burgers, the New Zealanders wanted to shot that burgers could be "gourmet".The GBK was both by Clapham House Group in 2005. They now have 43 branches in England; and happen to have two in Istanbul. One in the Kanyon Shopping Mall and the other in Nisantasi.
