Whether you want to stroll, rent bikes, let the kids run loose or throw out a blanket and nap in the sun, nothing says leisure like a day in the park. Fortunately, parks of Istanbul have even more to offer: a great view and fresh air of Bosphorus.
Parks that are next to the coast line, such as Bebek Park, are also afloat on the Bosphorus. Others situated over a hilltop, such as Emirgan and Ulus, have the most perfect views of the Sea.
Parks of Istanbul are not unfortunately as big as Central Park or the Hyde Park. And, there are often heralded by crowds of people jogging or biking. But, parks of Istanbul are peaceful and large ones such as Emirgan and Belgrad do attract many joggers, walkers, people with dogs and picnic lovers.
Picnic, read a book or work up a sweat-it in Istanbul. Or, just a grab your book and hit the park. Enjoy the view, order some tea, stretch your legs towards the Sea...
