Gold Fork is popular because it is close to a main highway and has developed pools, parking, and changing areas. Many hot springs are just as nature left them. But Gold Fork is like a spa without the spa snobbery.Easily accessed from highway 55 between Cascade and Donnelly Idaho, Gold Fork Hot Springs offers pools of varying temperatures and is a great place to soak after a day of skiing, fishing, or golfing. Close enough to both McCall and Boise for locals to make a day trip out of visiting the hot springs, but plenty spacious and gracious enough for visitors from out of the area.
