Moon's Kitchen has been a downtown staple for decades. Once upon a time, the diner was in the back part of a gun store. Today it's got a new, more family friendly location. But the food is still just as good.Moon's is known for many things. Shakes being one of them. The peanut butter shake is awesome. They also have excellent corned beef hash--part of their breakfast all day menu. The Reuben sandwich is probably their most famous sandwich. Plan to take half of it home. Fries come in a variety of shapes and sizes, including sweet potato fries and smiley face fries.
As with most diners, you're not here for the fancy service, the perfect waitress, or the cloth napkins. So don't expect those. What you can expect is friendly service with wait staff who will get whatever you want if you ask. And great food.
