A memorable vacation always includes fun activities. In Ibiza, fun begins the minute you step out of the plane. However as you explore the city you will discover that that there are rich attractions that can truly make this vacation extra memorable. Exploring old churches may not on the surface seem like the best thing to do with kids. But in Ibiza, a city rich in culture and tradition, it's actually a great way to spend the day. Iglesia de San Antonio was equipped with cannons until the 19th Century and still preserves some features from the days when it was used as a fortress. Inside there are three interesting paintings and several statues of saints from the 18th Century, such as San Antonio. Catedral de Santa María de Ibiza was built in 1235. Part of the cathedral was built in Gothic style and the rest in Baroque design. If you want a real thrill, take the kids to the top of Atalaia de San José, where you can see almost the entire coastline, as well as the rocky isles off the coast of the island. The route to the top is marked by a series of little wooden signs on the old Cala d'Hort road. Your family will have the vacation of a lifetime in Ibiza.
