Taking the nickname for northwestern Pokolbin, Mistletoe Wines produces small quantities of award-winning wines from its own vineyards of low yielding non-irrigated vines. The wines – the Hunter mainstays of Semillon, Shiraz, and Chardonnay -- are sold almost entirely direct, via cellar door or website. But the website can't give you the stunning views from the terracotta verandas, or the discoveries in the art gallery and sculpture garden. You can linger til 6pm any day and watch the day turn.
