Being smack dab in the middle Germany has it's advantages: very little culinary interference. If it's authentic German food you must have, authentic German food will be found (We can only imagine why there's no French food). Like other German cities, Italian food is fairly prevalent as is Greek or Southern European specialties like Macedonian or Hungarian foods.
