This charming little farm, where they grow the pumpkins that will soon become your jack 'o lanterns, is a great place to take the kids for a pre-Halloween extravaganza. Tune into fall with heavy doses of autumn colors, apple cider, and pumpkin-flavored foods and gifts, plus a haunted house on weekends, a petting zoo, hay rides, and a bouncy castle and slides. The short trip from San Francisco down Highway 1, over Devil's Slide, to Half Moon Bay can be harrowing as well.
