Built in 1866 and recently renovated, the Degollado Theater is one of Guadalajara´s real gems. It is at one end of the central square (
El Centro) of the city where you will also find the Presidential Palace and other historic buildings of the city. It is the home
of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Jalisco and of the Ballet Folklórico of the University of Guadalajara. International and national artists perform there. The Degollado is a world class theater. Ir will remind you of theaters in Europe
