Mexico is justly proud of its three greatest muralists: Diego Rivera, David Sequeiros and Jose Clemente Orozco. Of the three masters, my favorite is Orozco. Those of us living in Guadalajara are lucky enough to see some of his greatest work at the Instituto Cultural Cabaños and at the Palacio de Gobierno. A visit to the two buildings is easy. He had great genius and strong political beliefs. For years, his work was very controversial. Save a morning or afternoon for the visit. His work will absorb you!
