Le Coq Hardi has existed since 1934 and it's easy to see why the restaurant is still in operation.With daily specials starting at 8.50 euros and a fixed price menu at 11.50 euros, Le Coq Hardi offers delicious traditional cuisine without breaking the budget. In summer, their huge salads are both filling and refreshing. They also offer several copious pasta dishes for around 8 or 9 euros.
By American standards, the menu is rather limited--daily special, salads, pasta, and a few other selections, but actually, you don't need much more choice. This restaurant has chosen a few reliable dishes that it does very well so that diners should not be disappointed.
The warm brick-red wall, wood bar and furniture, plus old ads for French and American foods make Le Coq Hardi feel like something out of a French movie. As an extra bonus, the service always comes with a smile.
