Loch Lomond Waterski Club is about 40-45 minutes outside of Glasgow centre. The club have been providing waterski lessons to members, and tourists for years. Regardless of your level of skiing they will help you improve your skills, their motto is "Beginners are always welcome"! The club runs a Mastercraft tournament ski boat and provides a slalom course for more advanced skiers. The club is often used by corporates, V.I.P's and for filming purposes. Have your camera with you.. their customer list is like the Who's Who.. U2, Noel Gallagher , Carol Smillie, John Gordon Sinclair and Sally Mac Nair oh and the scenery! The season runs from May to September. This is a truly beautiful area offering a host of outdoor activities for adults and kids alike. The nearby Lomond Shores outlet also offers shopping, restaurants, more outdoor activities and a welcoming resting spot to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery!

The Glasgow Ski and Snowboard Centre is one of the few dry slopes in the country to be in the middle of a city. The floodlit slope is available to both members and non-members, and the centre offers instruction in either private or group classes for any level, plus equipment hire and repair. They also organise trips to Scottish resorts with real snow.

One of the top ranges for clay pigeon shooting in Scotland. Clay pigeon shooting is really quite an adventure and exhilarating sport. Why not give not try your hand in a safe and friendly surroundings? No previous experience is needed as you will be instructed by a former Scottish international clay pigeon shot. Best of all this is suitable for men and women of all ages (minimum 12 years).You can shoot any time from 11 am to 4 pm, except Sundays(No Shooting). This activity is currently priced at £45 per person for 50 clays, which includes the use of gun, ear defenders and expert tuition. To boot you can enjoy the scenic Loch Lomond as your backdrop. The school is about a 30 min drive outside of Glasgow. Best of all they offer other adventure activities.You will have the opportunity to fly birds of prey, or try your hand at canoeing, cycling, walking trips, archery or quad biking.
