Cineworld was founded in 1995 and all but three of its cinemas are "multiplex" with five or more screens per site. In the past year Cineworld has delivered five out of the top eight highest grossing cinemas across the UK and Ireland. Of its portfolio of 75 cinemas Cineworld has 66 sites with digital capability, more than any other exhibitor in the UK. Cineworld currently has 64 sites with 3-D screens.

Customers can enjoy 'Bargain Tuesday' at selected Cineworld cinemas, with tickets from just £4.50 every Tuesday. Children can also enjoy 'Movie for Juniors' every Saturday at 10 am, with tickets for just £1 on selected kids' movies.

The Glasgow cinema boasts a bar and a Ben & Jerry's ice cream stand.
