Description:
It's not rare that British people move to Benalmadena to open a restaurant, but Simon and Elaine are a couple who have really distinguished their establishment as something different from the rest. Over the years, they've effortfully evolved their originally traditional British menu. New items are continually added, such as tapas and more interesting mains like thai fish cakes served on a bed of noodles infused with lemongrass and ginger, which are served with a chili dipping sauce. Look for Pinocchio's terrace along the beach and a stairway that leads up to the restaurant—this is a place you don't want to pass up. The large terrace has fantastic views of the Mediterranean, and food is extremely affordable. Lunch items from 3-6€ include sandwiches and wraps, and for dinner, choose from an array of seafood or try the roasted vegetable pasta or the pork filet with fresh apple in a cider sauce. There is a good selection of children's meals, and the service is incredibly hospitable.
