The Mountain Bikers' Adventure
Description:
Spend five days exploring mountain biking trails in Flagstaff. The National Forest is known for a maze of single-tracks and the suggestions on this guide may well be switched out for the trails you discover during your visit. The trails in this trip are chosen for their varieties of terrain and all but one are located just north of town, except for the Sycamore Rim trail. The Sycamore Rim is almost 30 miles west of Flagstaff just by the charming old town Williams, so you may opt to stay there for a night. All-in-all, this itinerary is just a start to the mountain bike options in Flag. Stop by the Pay-and-take, a bar downtown (on Aspen, across from the Orpheum theater), to find the biking crowd and ask for more suggestions.
