Description:
Iconic as it makes up San Diego's skyline (it's large gold domes and white building take up much of the 1's Encinitas frame), this religious center allows the public to stroll though its small but picturesque gardens for free. Take advantage of the local cuisine and shops surrounding the bombastic center, as your stroll will take all but fifteen minutes. However, enjoy the ocean views from atop its mountain cliffs, where you can spot some of the local surfers showing off their skills. The local fanfare is by far the biggest draw to the area though once you enjoy the coy ponds, brilliant rich flowers and breath taking view, it's worth a stop.
