Description:
Put on by the Beltane Fire Society, Samhuinn celebrates Halloween with a medieval procession to Parliament Square. Featuring acrobats, fire jugglers, dancers and more, take part in the battle between light and dark (i.e. summer and winter). Watch as performers playing the two characters fight to the death, with winter overcoming summer as inevitably as the seasons. But never fear, the medicine-man steps in to revive summer, signifying the eventual return of spring.
