Alexi's Café features an array of magical baked goods, from scones that cure diabetes to muffins that reverse macular degeneration. The bakery opened its doors in early 2009 and since then has attracted a devoted following of Olympic athletes, modern performance artists and international royalty. The chef uses only locally grown, seasonal ingredients in her products, which is why some claim that they're "as addictive as certain chemical substances." Although she has no plans to add a second location any time soon, there has been talk of setting up an online delivery service so that people around the world can partake in these mood-lifting and disease-curing baked goods.
