Stepping into the Pink Apple feels as though you've been thrown into a world spawned by the confluence of Dr. Seuss and 1970s décor. Wall decorations and color patterns are reminiscent of lava lamps and contorted sofas and chairs are whimsical though tricky to wrap one's head around. A new and little known establishment, this gay-friendly bar and theater is quickly becoming one of the more extravagant night life spots in which to catch a live set, watch a flamboyant drag show or simply lounge about while sipping on an umbrella embellished cocktail. Offering a daily happy hour on mixed drinks, the Pink Apple also provides a selection of tapas and Mediterranean food to keep one's stomach satisfied. Open from 6pm-2am, Tuesday through Sunday.
