A Week in Cozumel & Riviera Maya
Description:
Most people who visit Cozumel do so on a day excursion from their cruise ship and don´t get a chance to enjoy all the island has to offer. Of course its famous for its diving, but there are a few other things to do and if you have time to explore the mainland you´ll be pleasantly surprised.

The reefs around Cozumel offer world class diving. The dive shops offer all sort of packages- from beginners to experienced. And of course there is plenty to be seen simply by snorkeling too. Be sure to sample the local fare at this popular taco joint.

Day 6 - Cozumel
The ruins on Cozumel are nowhere near as impresive, but they´ll be much less crowded than the ones on the mainland. Be sure to visit the mostly undeveloped east coast- but beware the powerful riptides. The beach on this side is mostly for walking, not swimming. Take a sunset cruise on a sailboat for the perfect end to a great day.
