Description:
The Leatherback Adventure is an exciting way to support the much needed research that helps us understand more about the endangered leatherback sea turtle. Counting turtle tracks on the sand and tagging nesting turtles are a couple of ways you'll help, and you'll get the rare chance to observe these endangered creatures up close. Your efforts will help collect information on the life cycle and migratory patterns of certain sea turtle species, which aids in determining if that location has a growing or declining population of nesting turtles. This all-inclusive adventure volunteer vacation includes plenty of free time for relaxation, exploring the area, and meeting all kinds of people from around the world. Leatherback season is March until June.
