Kids Restaurants in Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a kid-friendly country for the most part, and finding a place to eat with the whole family is a fun and easy challenge, with a little guidance. The first place on this top ten list has been serving young ones on the Caribbean coast for ten years straight, and the menu has all the Mexican standards that kids tend to love, like quesadillas, tacos and burritos, made less spicy for little ones upon request. The open-air restaurant has wood booths for the whole family,a pool to look at while you wait, and recently, the Lizard King has started offering delicious cheeseburgers and french fries, which seems to please plenty of parents, too. The second spot is La Criollita, a bustling Costa Rican restaurant in the heart of San Jose that is a fine place for kids to try a taste of gallo pinto, check out the birds on the back patio, and pick out a dessert from the glass case. At Willy's Caballo Negro, kids get a kick out of ordering, and eating the delicious schnitzel, and the atmosphere is casual and cozy, perfect for kids. All kids can find something at Amimodo's family-style Italian restaurant, and the same goes for Juanita's, which serves both Mexican and pizza; hungry kids can rejoice, parents can relax. While the last two on the list only serve breakfast and lunch, they both are reliably inviting in the earlier hours of the day, and offer inexpensive standards like omelets and simple sandwiches that are both kid and adult friendly.
