We spend the early part of the day at Mission Bay Park, the second "jewel" of San Diego's Parks. Rent a Kayak or windsurfer to explore the Bay, wal, bike or rollerblade on the paths that encircle it, or just relax and picnic on the beaches and lawns. Close to Mission Bay is Tecolote Canyon, a great place for a nature hike. We head to Point Loma in the afternoon to catch the incredible views at Cabrillo National Monument, hike the Bayside Trail, and watch the sunset from the aptly named Sunset Cliffs.
