A former cattle market built in 1901, Øksnehallen is now a vast exhibition hall used for various events, from trade fairs to photographic exhibitions. One of the first buildings in Vesterbro's meat-packing district to be redeveloped as part of the area's cultural transformation, this 5000 sq.meter venue is now part of the DGI-Byen sports and recreation complex.
