Geranium will find instead the attractive and similarly Nordic kitchen of Orangeriet, where the nostalgic atmosphere of the light and airy pavilion provides the framework for a fairly relaxed, though expensive, dining experience. 'The Orangery' opened here in 2010, and while it may be informal for gourmet standards, with seasonal-changing mains (fish, meat and vegetarian options are offered) costing either side of DKK 200, this is far more than a park cafe, and husband-and-wife team of Jasper and Marie Kure aim for high culinary standards as well as impeccable service. If dining light, lunch offers a range of classic open sandwiches as well as a variety of traditional Scandinavian desserts, cakes and pastries.
