Le Saint Jacques
Address:
Sankt Jacobs Pladsen 1

Phone:

Description:
Despite its rather out-of-town location in leafy Østerbro, Le Saint Jacques has a good number of discerning regulars. Its reputation as one of Copenhagen's best French restaurants can be attributed to its attention to detail, both in regard to service and the menu, carefully put-together by chef and owner Daniel Letz, formerly of
Kong Hans Kælder. Saint Jacques specialties include smoked salmon, scallops Saint Jacques and beef medallion while unsurprisingly, the wine list is almost exclusively French. The restaurant is tucked away on one of Østerbro's many small squares, and has seating both inside and out. Prices are not as high as you might think, especially at lunchtime, when a three-course menu can be had for DKK 325 (DKK 375 at dinner). Reservation advised.
