The most central branch of this city-wide take-away chain that claims to offer the cheapest Japanese food in Copenhagen is situated in a former pharmacy. Eat at bar stools along the high counters or take away, this is healthy fast food, Japanese style. Don Don's specialties include bento lunch boxes from 39kr, miso soup for 19kr and the 'sushi dog' – a good alternative to the hot dog – as well as nigiri sushi made with black rice. Unlike other sushi restaurants where you can watch the chef at work with his extremely sharp knives, here the work is done by robots – keeping prices down and greatly amusing the youngest customers.
