The owners of French restaurant Madklubben on Store Kongensgade opened Den Anden in 2008, which means (hardly surprisingly) 'the second'. The concept is that of a Parisian bistro with a contemporary feel, and the 200kr cost of the three-course set menu is very reasonable considering the gourmet standard. Then there's the location, right next to the canal: the limited outside seating in the summer offers glorious dusk views.
