Cafe Sari is located in a fascinating building whose history dates back to the 1600s, and overlooks the busy square of Nytorv, once a busy market place as well as the site of the old Town Hall and Copenhagen City Court. Cafe Sari offers a lunch menu with brunches served practically all day (from 9am until 4pm) and traditional Danish open sandwiches, as well as cafe standards like pasta dishes, nachos and salads. The cafe-restaurant also has an evening menu served from 5pm and a cocktail bar. Sit inside or out on the square on sunny summer evenings, when the sun stays up after 10pm. Cafe Sari is the new name for the former Domhuskælderen restaurant, having undergone a name change in 2009.
