Recently bought by the DGI-Byen leisure and hotel group, this architecturally-fascinating, 1930s hotel located a stone's throw from the Central Train Station has been revamped and modernized and can now boast of being one of the city's top 10 design hotels. Prices are naturally a little higher than they were pre-renovation, but plenty of new, modern amenities on offer easily make up for the inflation - as well as the use of DGI-Byen fitness center and spa's extensive facilities, for free or at greatly reduced rates.
