This 25-floor high, 366-room hotel in the Ørestad region between downtown Copenhagen and Copenhagen Kastrup Airport opened in November 2009, just in time for the swarms of guests expected to arrive in Copenhagen for the international climate conference COP15 - and in keeping with the conference, it is a certified CO2-neutral hotel. Unlike the city's other new hotels that have been built with the budget traveller in mind, international hotel chain Crowne Plaza's latest global addition is a lavish 4-star hotel that – in addition to the hundreds of rooms, bar and restaurant, Executive Lounge and roof terrace – boasts a 3,500 sq.meter congress and conference center.
