Be warned though, you might find the prices equally astronomical-and booking well in advance is necessary.
While Sankt Gertruds Kloster may not offer cuisine on quite the same level as Era Ora, it makes up for this with its location, a 14th-century monastery, and its stone walls and candlelit tables lend an atmosphere unique in Copenhagen. The restaurant reopened in 2009 with new owners and a rather more Scandinavian menu.
