Since opening in 2004, The Rock has established itself as one of the city's main venue for hard rock, heavy metal and also, surprisingly enough, a number of ragga and rap artistes. Acts range from up-and-coming local acts to international touring rock stars, and despite the venue's hard image, The Rock is a smart and spacious venue with a friendly atmosphere.
