Centrally located on the corner of Gothersgade and Grønnegade with a large, open seating area outside the large glass front doors, The Coffee Factory may not take coffee production quite as seriously as some of Copenhagen's other coffee shops like Risteriet and Estate Coffee, but it is its attention to achieving the perfect 'coffee experience' that earned it the title of Copenhagen's best coffee bar by readers of the online Danish guide to Copenhagen AOK in 2010. It's a popular place with many regulars, from local office workers grabbing a cup to go before they clock in (The Coffee Factory opens at 7am on weekdays) to mother's groups who enjoy a leisurely latte amongst the prams outside. The many varieties of coffee available here are all organic: It's also possible to order an accompanying croissant, sandwich or – for those feeling like something a little different - a glass of ice-coffee or a cup of chai.
