A rather trendy meeting place for gays and lesbians, Oscar Bar Cafe is just around the corner from Rådhuspladsen and functions as a restaurant as well as a place to drink, with a menu of delicate Danish open sandwiches, good quality wines and decent coffee served from behind the 12-meter long bar. The music here is a mixture of soul, lounge and house and the atmosphere is definitely a lot more tasteful than at many of the older gay bars in the city.
