Magraths is Østerbro's only pub, a South African bar frequented by ex-pats and Danes alike, who come for the beer as well as the football, rugby and other sporting events broadcast live here (opening hours change according to the sporting calendar). There's a good choice of beers, wines, shots and cocktails that includes plenty of South African produced drinks. The place is decked out in true South African style, right down to the imported corrugated iron to make the 'shebeen' or bar. Joint-owned by a South-African and a Dane, Copenhagen's only South African pub is an authentic watering hole.
