Description:

Christiania's rock venue Loppen ('the flea') is the oldest surviving rock venue in Copenhagen, the place where some of the biggest underground names have been making the wooden floorboards shake since it all began back in 1973. Far smaller than other venues in the city like The Rock or Vega, the atmosphere here is intimate and relaxed, with a far more diverse crowd than Christianites alone. Concerts generally start at 9pm, ranging greatly in price with local bands playing for DKK 50 and big international names costing DKK 150-200. Upstairs from Loppen is the restaurant Spiseloppen.
