Phone:

Description:
When the coolest club in '90s Copenhagen, Stereo Bar, finally called it quits in 2007, the premises—just across from Nørreport Metro Station—were taken over by Peter Dellefar (also co-owner of
Riesen and
Mc Kluuds) who opened the very different Isola Rock Bar. It's nothing special, with a name that says it all—an after-hours bar for those who love all forms of rock music. If electronic clubs really aren't your thing and dress codes make you reach for your filthiest pair of Levis, enjoy the relaxed, down-to-earth vibe of Isola, where the bar serves beer (with a few cocktails and mixed drinks for more discerning girlfriends) and occasional local surprise guests making live appearances in addition to the DJ's choice of new as well as classic rock. Note that despite the laid-back policy the club does have an over-21 age restriction. Thursday is happy hour all night, with specials on draught lager and shots.
