Description:
Terence Conran's restaurant empire has converted this former customs & excise building into a smart complex of international restaurants and bars. The original architecture is art deco, the interior black leather and wood panelling and the views over the water (either from out on the terrace or looking out of the floor-to-ceiling windows) of the Opera House and Christiansborg Palace wonderful. The meals on offer at the Bar & Grill are French bistro-style - including of course some good-sized steaks - while the drinks are served until late, especially at weekends, when a DJ entertains after 10pm. This is where Arnold Schwarzenegger dined when he came to Copenhagen for the climate summit in 2009.
