The Joffrey Ballet is well known as Chicago's finest ballet company, but did you know that the Joffrey Academy of Dance is spreading the troupe's reputation to dancers young and old, beginning and advanced? The Adult Open Division offers daily classes to experienced movers and amateurs alike. Drop-in for a $15 single class in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, or PIlates. No need to enroll for a semester, and the Academy welcomes new dancers at any time. Whether you're in town and decide to stop in for a one time class or you're a local with a 10 or 20-class card, these dance classes provide a great way to stay in shape, enjoy music, and move with other people. Surprise your mother with a dance class date. You might be relieved to hear that for the adult division, leotard and tights are not required nor is there a dress code. Make yourself comfortable and get ready to move!
