Description:
THC is mostly popular with tourists, due in part to its location on busy Chaiyapoom Road and to its overt promotion of cannabis culture. Don't expect to walk in here and buy a joint though, you will most likely be greeted with a dismissive shake of the head. There are other bars in that business in Chiang Mai, none of which I will name here. The highlight here is the rooftop, where patrons sits on the floor around small tables in a very chilled setting reminiscent of bars on the islands. On arrival at the ground floor you will have to climb a slightly dubious winding staircases to arrive at the roof top bar. Along the way up you will note the psychedelic paintings and if you are not high already, at the top of the stairs you will be. Be prepared to be so laid back you are literally on the floor.
