Description:
Opus One Restaurant & Bar is located on the top floor of the Plaza Surin hotel. Just like the Plaza, Opus One offers luxury and immaculate service. Not a place to take the kids or if you're on a budget, but great for a romantic dinner or if you want to impress somebody. Dark woods, high-quality furnishings and live jazz music make for a classy and intimate ambiance. Items on the menu start at about U$10 for things like a Caesar salad or a dish of calamari and shrimp in tempura. If you want to order meats, the prices go up considerably. The European Turbot (roasted fish) will set you back about U$30, while the Wagyu Cowboy Steak (rib eye with all the trims) costs a whooping U$100. The wine list includes selections from Australia, France, Italy and New Zealand, among others. You don't need to be a guest at the hotel to enjoy the food here. Many of the patrons come around just to try the food.
