Despite the ordinary exterior, the Curtin, as it is commonly known, is one of Melbourne's best live music pubs. Head upstairs and you'll discover a large band room with stage on one side and bar on the other. Downstairs is a small bistro area and comfy front bar, equipped with booths. A real winner is the menu which features the usual pub fare but at incredibly cheap prices. Check their website to see what specials are available. We also like the buzzer you are given to be notified when the food is ready. It just builds the anticipation, especially when hungry. Overall this is a very worthwhile pub to eat and then see a few bands.
