A list of the most fun activities in Canyonlands? Easy! Getting outside is probably top on your list, so we've come up with the most fun things to do outside. These activities are bound to put a smile on your face. This is what vacation is all about, right? Check out our list of the most fun things to do in Canyonlands.
Like most of our national parks, Bryce Canyon's Junior Ranger program is run by rangers who know that kids just wanna have fun...while their parents just wanna relax for a bit. Mesa Arch is a famous sunrise landmark-easy to get to and usually the setting for gorgeous photos. On the Cave Spring Trail, you have the opportunity to climb a ladder, which we think can be fun for sure. Aztec Butte Trail shows off some baby arches and ancient ruins, which for the imaginative hiker can lead to much fun speculation about life here long ago. And Whale Rock Trail makes our list because it looks like a whale incongruously hanging out in the desert.
Plenty of visitors love to have challenging fun in the Canyonlands backcountry. On designated roads in the Maze district, if you have the right kind of vehicle (car or bike) and the chops to navigate those wild, rutted roads, plenty of fun is yours to have. Bump down the roads in Elephant Canyon, Chesler Park Loop, Lavender Canyon and Salt Creek Canyon, and let the good times begin.
